OUR RETURNS POLICY

We have made changes to our returns policy due to the national lockdown. Our returns policy has been extended 14 days from the 2nd of December.

Shop Orders, On-Line or Telephone Orders

Our hope is that you are entirely satisfied with your new uniform, but if for any reason you need to return a garment we are here to help. Our returns period is 28 days from the date you receive your order for either an exchange, credit on account or full refund*. Hopefully, this ensures that you have plenty of time to return any item that is unworn and in a saleable condition to us for a guaranteed exchange or refund**. Exchanges or refunds outside of this period will be considered at the discretion of F.R.Monkhouse Limited. Where possible, we ask that items are returned in original packaging with labels attached.

* Only items returned within 28 days of the date you received your order will receive a refund. Items returned after 28 days can be exchanged or receive a credit on account.

**Any items returned as faulty within 6 months of purchase will be inspected and if considered to be faulty due to a manufacturer's fault will be replaced or given a refund at the purchase price. Items over 6 months old will be dealt with at the discretion of F.R.Monkhouse Ltd.

Please note: We cannot offer returns on the following items unless they are faulty

  • Gumshields
  • Goods made or supplied to a special order
  • Items that have been personalised with pupils initials
  • Nametapes
  • Socks and Tights removed from outer packaging
  • Undergarments
  • Swimsuits with the protective gusset lining removed.

Free returns for web and mail order purchases

In addition, we provide free postal returns on anything you purchase with us online or by phone, simply by using the Freepost returns label enclosed within your order. Of course, you can also return or exchange any items bought from us on-line by going in-store. Please note, unfortunately, we are unable to offer free postal returns on items purchased in store.

 

Covid Secure

For the safety of our team please note all items returned to us will be quarantined for 72 hours un-opened from when they are delivered to us. Once opened all goods will be Steamed, inspected and processed. Please bear with us for at least an extra 72 hours to allow us to safely process all returned goods.

This Returns Policy does not affect your Statutory Rights.

Requesting an exchange

Any item that you wish to exchange and is free from fault must be unworn and in a saleable condition. All returns and exchanges are made at the Company's discretion whilst acknowledging our responsibilities under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

If you are exchanging an item that has been posted to you we ask that you use the free post label enclosed in your original order. Please clearly state that you require an exchange and the new size you require for the replacement. If there is a price difference between the products you are exchanging you will be contacted via telephone and refunded/billed accordingly. If the product you require is temporarily out of stock it will be placed on our back-order system and you will be duly notified.

Incorrect orders

We try very hard to eliminate with a 2 stage order checking process but in the case we accidentally have sent you the wrong item please call our customer services on 0161 476 7216 and we will sort this out as quickly as possible for you.

Proof of purchase

Please note for all returns obtain a receipt of posting as returns remain your responsibility until they reach us.
